Need some opinions on which pair of boots to buy, please?

Hi guys, i didn't know where to post this and just needed some opinions on which pair of boots to buy. I am thinking of buying some casual boots to wear on a day to day basis and i have decided to choose between these two pairs:

These ones are on offer and they have my size available. I like the rugged look of them.

I really like these ones too, they have a casual & formal look to them, however, they are an extra £15 more.

Some opinions from both sexes would be great, however, it would also be a bit better to hear the opinions from women.

Thanks.

Definitely the first ones, the second pair look like something Roy Cropper would wear.

I prefer the second pair because they are all leather and they don't have the material plaid part. I tend to go for plainer things which will last for years or won't date like Doc Martens but everyone's taste is different. Have you been into the store and tried them on or have you just been looking at them online?

    Definitely second pair.
Plaid pair will be out of fashion soon as "lumberjack" trend is ending and other ones will work into spring

I actually like both of them, Think the 1st pair are more casual to be worn with jeans and the 2nd pair just that bit smarter and could be worn with either jeans or trousers
Treat other's how you like to be treated.

I prefer the first pair too. Although, the second pair are also pretty nice and might be more durable/go with more outfits as they are leather.
