Can I please ask - did you do it yourself or did you go through a solicitor ?

I did this a few years ago thro' a solicitor. There are 2 different ones you can have: Health & welfare & property & financial affairs. If you google lasting power of attorney you should get up the gov.uk info. My solicitor also advised me to have 2 people who'd be contacted if my attorney's decided to start acting for me. This acts as a safeguard against my attorneys acting inappropriately if you get my drift.

Bubbs, good luck with giving up. I have often wondered why they don't call willpower won'tpower, after all it is mostly the determination to stop something
