Afternoon all.
Hope everyone is ok.
Could have blooming killed myself this morning! My brakes seized up on my bike and locked solid. Luckily I was going at a snails pace as lil stink was being a pain in the bum and not wanting to get to school. I ended up having to drag my bike home and practically run to get him to school on time.Good morning all. Hope everyone is well. My condolences to vanilla twist. Sorry it's late but I've been a bit out of the loop on my holibobs.
In about 1 hour I will pay a lump sum over to the bank and be mortgage free - I'm super excitednever spent so much money in one go in my life!!!!
Wow! Congrats to you hun. What a fab feeling :jhampydoodums wrote: »Back from TK Maxx. I marked on my calendar last year the Sunday the final week of Yellow Clearance labels happens. Well it's today and I got some right bargains. Totes slipper boots £3, a lovely soft onesie for £4 and other items of clothing. Nothing cost me more than £4 :money:
For those who don't usually partake this is the best week of the reductions in TK Maxx. So the final week reductions started today then they will reduce again on Tuesday and Thursday and finally on Saturday when the reductions will go down every hour.
Obviously there is some tat and stuff that's broken but if you search through the rails and the tables I'm sure you'll grab yourself a bargain
Oh and they also have a week of final yellow clearance in the summer too
No snow here fortunately, stay safe those who have it and please go carefully
Hampy, I flipping love you!!
Thanks got the tip, I popped in my local when I finished work and got some amazing bargains. A brand new microwave bottle steriliser for £3 RRP £25.00, 2 little newborn bubba sets (1x pink 1x blue, don't know yet so brought both for £8 total and a gorgeous Leighton Denny nail polish set worth £30 for £3 :j proper happy, thanks babe :iloveyou:We are a happy household today.
Mum called again this morning and her doctor wasn't in today (not objecting to the time off but after not calling yesterday?) so the lovely receptionist made sure that another doctor looked at the X-Ray and called. Confirmed that Mum had a nasty chesty infection and nothing worseShe is going for a follow up appointment in Feb but all fine!
Fab news babe :jLife is not about learning to avoid the storms - it's about learning to dance in the rain.0 -

Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0
