Slight frost on the ground this morning but a beautiful blue sky with a sun with warmth in it at 10pm.
Dad has gone forward for his forever sleep:A
Service was lovely and I managed my reading.
Huge family meal tonight 16 of us. I just want to go to sleep as so shattered but I don't think anyone but mum realises this. I will soldier on but don't think I will manage the whole evening as tummy doing somersaults.
Have missed a fair bit but thanks to happy doldrums for mentioning Call the midwife which I managed to watch online late last night to calm my nerves.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me these last 6 months. You made such a difference to my life:A:A

hope you manage to get some sleep, it will get easier & u will start to remember all the good times, I did a reading at my dads funeral, we had a stereo & did his favourite dance outside church, we knew he would have a good laugh, that was 11 years ago next month, I do still shed a few tears & miss him but remember him with more smiles now. take all the time to grieve u need, big big hugs xx0 -
Night all.
Hope someone stops digging soon xxCherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

Still, gets me a chance to find out how the world is set up for people with the full complement of limbs. Plus I now get the chance to spend more time with friends and family and got to know the very nice people of a major Glasgow hospital

And don't step outside on pavements in Scotland in case you slip on the black ice, break a limb, go to A and E, operating theatre, recovery room and miss your flight back to London.
Apologies for radio silence.
