    I took DD to Dubai last year. It's just amazing. there is nothing that isn't just luxury. My enduring memory is of DD using the hotel loos, dashing back to the room and unceremoniously dumping the contents of our make up bag on the bed and dashing off with the empty bag, and coming back with a bag full of complimentary premium toiletries and make up :o :rotfl::rotfl:
    Don't know where she gets that from :D
    It was honestly amazing. We ate food we weren't born for and visited places that were just out of this world. I've been before years ago but the place has moved on so much since then. If you can afford it....go! it's an absolute experience not to be missed :)

    I went to Dubai a couple of years ago and it just has to be seen ...the

    little boats taking you every where either to another shop or over to

    what I would call the old town ... I walked the streets of the old town and very

    miserly bought Dgd a load of dressing up clothes and lots of dresses and dolls

    And the sales assistant carried my bags to the taxi rank boat ... I don't think anyone

    had spent so much in one go at his store ....

    Big love VT. So brave of you to do your reading x

    Still no call from the doc for my Mum. At least they could put her mind at rest and tell her what the news is :( It's a real pet peeve of mine when people promise things and don't deliver. If you say you're going to do something you better damn well do it or apologise and explain why you can't and when to expect it. This 'radio silence' thing makes me really angry.

    Sorry to hear this :o I'm guessing the surgery will be closed now. Is it worth a trip there first thing in the morning....hopefully just to put her mind at rest?

    Evening All

    Feeling a bit :eek: and :o
    Have just caught up and it seems you think I created an ae yesterday.
    I didn't, not sure if you'll believe that but thought I'd better post anyway.
    Yes, I posted about the toblerones but really don't care how many other times it gets posted after that, it's better to have it posted more so that everyone gets to see it.

    Oh Big MOC, I dont think anyone thought it was you. Was just some smart harris that didnt have the sense to just say someone else had posted it first, in the manner that a normal, level headed human would have done. It was no biggie, the original op often gets lost in the bilge. :beer:

    Still can't get over how it was free in the cafe, bet its packed out all the time in there! I even noticed a hot drink machine as I walked out the store, so you'd think the free hot drinks would be limited to there, not in a posh teapot in the cafe!

    I know very good:T:T i will go again:rotfl::rotfl:
