With the Lynx you paid £6 and got an apg for 98p. However, we now have a trigger for when better comparisons come along.
With the Listerines you paid £3 and got an apg for 24p. But, again we now have a trigger and do you remember a few months ago when the Radox handwashes were in this 3 for £3 offer and compared against 75p in T? If they appear again, then very cheap handwash.
So, in a nutshell, probably not much in either offer to get excited about just yet, but certainly something to keep an eye on in the coming weeks..:D

Blimey, I have just caught up over lunch and that will teach me to mention that a £1.50 voucher and a £1 voucher could potentially (SA willing) be used to buy the £2.50 pizza in T (free pizza) ... rather than a £1.50 voucher to buy the same brand of pizza in A for £1.48 (free pizza plus change) ... my intent was only to point out it didn't make sense to bin the £1 voucher (still 35p or thereabouts in A using the APG and the £1 voucher, 1 per pizza :A) but it seems my response was then caught up in a debate about what is acceptable
.
It appears we all have different lines and the fact we post on here suggests that our collective line is different to Joe Public and what A/T/M/S/W would intend. If we were using the APG as A intended, we would not even separate our shop, as their likely aim (not the advertised one of being 10% cheaper) is that you would buy your normal shop and in all likelihood some things would be cheaper, some would be more expensive and overall it would near balance itself out (hence why many Wombles don't give a good return). The Elite approach to A was, as I understood it (but I am now beginning to question), generally about buying a deliberate combination of products that you know will all be cheaper (or the same) in a target supermarket. The next level of this was targeting certain glitchy products that you know in advance (glitch and system update willing) break the multi, or are cheaper RTC instore, to generate an APG resulting in a significantly greater than advertised discount/free items.
I wasn't aware of the new guidance for Elite since the New Year but it appears the thread is going to get much quieter (or at least less glitch related) - so from now on:
- don't target shop, shop like a muggle (or like most members of my family) and only buy as and when required,
- definitely don't build a stash of anything even if you are buying in advance when discounted to save buying later, only buy what you need now
- don't try new things that you wouldn't normally buy just because they are glitching/discounted/free, only buy what you will use
- only buy offers (particularly multis) when all items are visible on MSM/A/APG to ensure the multi processes correctly,
- only generate 10 APG entries a month and also stick within the £100 limit (online and instore combined) whether from your own shops or from wombles,
- tell T immediately if an item is mispriced so that they don't get caught out and have to give people DTD and A so that they don't have to give out £2 giftcard ...
- don't buy anything that is the result of a system glitch, let A/T, New Look or whoever know that their system or voucher isn't working as they intended
Have I missed anything ... ? :A.
I appreciate that everyone has different lines they are comfortable with and didn't even think I had crossed one, but always useful to have a reminder now and again and see different perspectives.
