    :rotfl: Great minds.

Actually, your constant (and I don't mean that in a bad way :)) references, along with others, to your food bank donations has made me find out yesterday where my local one is - didn't even know there was one - and contact them. I hope to start buying useful foodbank fillers rather than flumps! So thank you - and all others - for the nudge. :T

Yes I am guilty about banging on about food banks - out if our 8 major local supermarkets within a 5 mile radius 2 have food bank trolleys, Tesco (Tesco top up donations by a percentage) and Asda which does a local one run by a local church (and Christian concern) so I am trying very hard to always have a bag reading to drop off. I also have an empty wine box into which i pop any bric a brac suitable for Oxfam and a clothing bag for the Oxfam clothing bank - the theory being that I should be on top of the clutter this year :)

OMG, I am so chuffed. My tv that I bought from Amazon over two years stopped working properly over Christmas. Basically kept losing signal, wouldn't stay on channels, when I retuned it wouldn't find any channels, then only BBC ones etc.

Contacted amazon and put in there about the 6 years under EU law related to Sale of Goods Act (obviously worded it better than that) and they have basically offered me a refund. :T

Great customer service from Amazon (they have impressed me several times before with their customer service), and am so glad, as now can order a new tv whereas without a refund wouldn't have been able to get one.

So, need to do a bit of research into tv's! Won't be getting a sony again, as that is the one that broke.
