    Afternoon all.

No snow here, think it might have tried for a few minutes (seemed to be a few flakes when I looked out the window around 9.30) but nothing since, and it is bright sunshine now. Not been out but I suspect its cold!

C&C placed for udi's tomorrow. I have decided that rather than fill up with 10p sweets etc, I am going to get specific stuff for the food bank. Doesn't cost much more if you get the smart price, eg a tin of potatoes was 15p, tin of rice pudding the same, got some other bits too for not much more, but at least it can be put to good use.

Westie your post brought back memories of when I lived up North just off the Great North Road. We had 6ft drifts and couldn't get to school for 2 weeks as no buses could get through even after the drifts were ploughed through. More snow soon replaced the drifts. Great for sledging and skiing but  for anyone for work, and emergency vehicles

Hi altoJack, I live just of the great north road we have a couple of inches of snow now , was about five during the week but a beautiful day today bright and sunny:)

    Morning all
Rare opportunity for me to get to Asda this morning
Just wondering if anyone has tried an oil shop with the very very lately? finally spotted one in my store
    Thx
Not sure if it is working this morning, my receipt said not enough items but I had bought 11 different items of which 2 were oil and 1 of the shampoo (did the same yesterday and got the apg). Will take the hit as have done it 3 times with no problems so still in profit.
  • Here's a potential glitch for those of you who are happy to pay for air fresheners..:)

In the '2 for £6' deal there are 6 Glade items at £3.60 on A.com but only 5 on msm. The missing item that I cannot find anywhere on msm is..

So my thinking is, buy the above trigger and either if the two items below and get approx £3.30 apg..

There are probably other items in the offer that compare well too..:D

Try entering it again, the site had been playing up... Might be lucky
