I am fairly sure you are not meant to drive for 6 weeks after a C section, and if you have been told that by the doctor then you would be driving uninsured, hth

Thanks, I think you have to check with both gp and insurance company first, but generally it's recognised that people heal at different rates. I was told a good guide is if you can do an emergency stop without hesitation or worry of pain, then you're probably ok
A friend of mine was driving after ten days- i said the same to her and she said that she checked with her GP and insurance and they were both happy that if she was comfortable to drive then she would be ok

Thanks, was planning to phone to check with them first

They say 6 weeks. But saying that I walk round a 2 hour bootsale 6 days after mine, and was doing housework within 3 days.

Well done you, taking a trip to the loo was a big deal to me after 3 days lol (I don't think I do pain very well :rotfl:)

Hi was it you mhoc who mentioned the Countrylife offer yesterday ? I also had the offer from quidco for a free £10 spend over £5 so I did that offer £5 off quidco and the £10 hopefully and the magazines with the £20 M & S voucher. Hopefully it all works to plan :)

Drat, I went through Topcashback for the magazine and it's not even showing on my list of clicks this morning - this would have been perfect ...
As would the shoes I bought from Evans yesterday also done on Topcashback and not showing - it's going to be a day of chasing things up.
The Quidco thing only appeared in my inbox today

When I went to opt in the opt in box didn't disappear the way I expected it to, will definitely double check before I buy anything though.

Yes the Quidco opt in box took some persuasion for me as well. I had a tweet composed and about to send but I thought I'd try once more and it worked :T

The odd thing is that even though its 4 years since I used this account there is £2.75 to pay out - it does not correlate with anything on the activity page :D

Slapping a smile on here :o

Apologies but this is not a good year so far - we are in a sad place - not knowing the future for Mrs Fourp :(

I'm so far out of the loop. I do skim read & take myself out for fresh air with a walk to Ts.
I really don't want to burden you with our troubles, and want to say Thank You to Tweets for keeping the QUIZ going ♥

I don'T seem to have one. :( must use it too much, lol! Just tried dh account but can'T see where the message box notification thing is on tablet for some reason.

Meant to say thanks yesterday for some of your posts, my tablet keeps logging me in and out and losing thanks button. You posted some good fillers for a v T shop, the shop it ones so thanks. :)

The Quidco notification came to an account I'd not used for 4 years  but in December I must have been logging into this account by accident using the main sky address instead of my personal one - then I realised I was not in the right account so I logged back out again - so it Quidco must have noticed a dormant account was active again

    Seconded. (((Hugs))) to you snap.

My As never has good reductions either. I think it's because it's in the town centre so people don't do their main shop there. They have had huge problems since opening. Should have done better research really as they just assumed people would shop there all the time. :(

Abailey54, glad to hear you're ok. I haven't had c section so don't know about that but hope recovery going well. Udi should be ok as someone else posted apple ones. None in my store and na on a.com for me. :( They Def had them before. Well, oos for ages, then 5 packs at 2.95 for a week. :rotfl:

Just had an email from YHA and they now have the 2014 summer camps list up.

    https://www.yhasummercamps.co.uk/camps2015.php?utm_source=YHA&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=5234685_Summer+Camps+2015&utm_content=YHA+Summer+Camps+-+Go+eXtreme&dm_i=1N6K,3473X,97VGYR,B69OO,1

these are 5 days, all inclusive that run through the main school hols - they also - not sure if they still do, collect them by coach from a local central place - for us it was Stoke train station - so you don't even have to worry about transport.
Its £365 this year which sounds a lot but they are so well worth it - when they first started sadly my eldest was too old but the 2 lads did various camps for several years.
The youngest one went on to do the leadershop course and it was one of a number of steps he did along the way - it lead onto college and uni with an outdoor sports degree and he is now 5 years later working in one of the places he did a 5 day YHA camp at :j.

There is also a bursary if you are eligible for free school meals -(that used to be for incomes under £15 thousand is that still the same?? ) and you might qualify for a place on a camp for £100 - OK that is still a huge amount to find out of a tight budget but these camps are excellent - even if it means living on porridge and beans for a month - you have to apply ASAP though as these are limited.
