    :T Nice.

Last week I finished work early at 7pm (after starting at 9am) and it felt like a half day, even with travelling an hour either side

I need to change my profession :rotfl:

Must admit, it's more about life / work balance for me. That's more important that earning more elsewhere for working more hours.

  • I occassionally think it would have been a more balance life if I did not work.... but then I remember I normally like work!

OMG... SFSB I need your courage x
Was gonna say that I think you need to grow a pair SSM, but I think we all know that you already have balls!!

Anyway, I need dishwasher tabs as I am on my last box..:o

However, let's think about this logically and discuss what might happen tomorrow..

    1) Everything goes well, 10 boxes are delivered, I get charged £40 as planned and get an apg for £36.00. Extremely happy days..

    2) Everything goes well, 10 boxes are delivered, I get charged £40 as planned and get an apg for £0 as I have bought the wrong item and it hasn't compared. Tough boobies, I take the hit as it is user error.

    3) 10 boxes are delivered and I am charged £90. Hopefully, thank my lucky stars that my mil (who will be here at delivery time) refuses the items because I have told her that they are £4 each instore. She tells the delivery driver this, he takes back the dishwasher tabs and I still get a £36 apg, just for being a charming Scotsman..:D

Was this based on guesswork or experience troutabout? I think both Munqui and I read this as 'Jellies are comparing well A v M' and as a result bought them today only to lose money based entirely on what you posted.:(

With age and time comes experience and you will soon get to know that anything msm says about any A v M comparison is unreliable and is not to be trusted till actual shops are done and comparisons confirmed.

If you have any thoughts on A v M comparisons in future it would be extremely helpful to all of us if you could confirm whether you have actually done those shops already or whether you have just noticed the possibility of a good comparison A v M.

    Thanks
    SFSB

although I read it in the same way as you did, I think you should have pointed it out in the traditional way.

The downside of freelancing, having to take work where you can get it. I seem to go from one extreme to the other; no work for weeks then intense 16-18 hour day stints. :o
