My windows cleaners use pure distilled water jet wash so I would presume a good clean with vinegar to get all old chemicals off the rinse with distilled water. Can be bought from Halford.
I used to suffer the same problem hence having my windows cleaned every 2 months now. It is like magic.

Sorry just trying to catch up and only saw this Evangeline - no what I meant was that I wondered if its only working in England (as I'm in Scotland) and sometimes we don't get the same results. Everyone else's has worked south of the border so I'd be interested to hear if any other Scots have managed to get this to work0 -

Ok, my resolve has finally broken:(. Just back from Sains. with a 40p Basics Wholemeal Bread. I figured that I could either spend a lot more time and more money travelling all over the city into every supermarket to try to track down a cheaper whoopsied wholemeal bread, and even then probably not have any success, or I could just walk a few hundred yards to the nearest S and buy the bread straight. I just paid outright for it(:rotfl:) and didn't bother using a pounds BM as setting aside 40p of that low amount instead of 4x 10p filler items would leave less room for cost of items within the BM (and Nectar) spend and inevitably lead to a slightly lower BM back. In any event I don't need the same items yet again that are cheaper in A, but really could do with some changed offers so leaving that shop off until later.
So - I've now given them £2.50:(, and that's a psychologically bad figure, uselessly divided across several shops so that I couldn't even have used a Nectar spend for it.
However, I can't expect to make a profit on every item I 'buy' - especially not real high-priced() essential items. I'll be giving them more anyway soon, as the Cheap Energy Club has suggested I switch to Sains Energy. (I'm aware of the Co-op deal: it doesn't come out cheaper for me.) On the basis that I could not be getting it cheaper elsewhere, I'm already going to be saving XX number of pounds anyway - and I'll get extra Nectar points so there will be more fun later in the year:D. (The points are not part of my switch decision at all, but just come along with it - I would not suggest anyone switches to Sains Energy (or indeed to anywhere else) just because of points but makes a decision based on their own set of circumstances.)
I've given them some money:(. However I don't suspect they were expecting me just to buy the loaf of bread and nothing else:). I think I'll disregard this payment from my total calculations, on the basis that I could not have got this absolute essential item that I could not possibly live without anywhere else cheaper at the time. It's basically a self-serving exercise to give moral comfort and support to myself and serves to reinforce my own decision. I make up the rules and change or, more to the point, re-interpret them to suit myself. (In other words, it's arguably actually a denial of the true position - I know: it's wider society that is more likely normally to engage in this sort of thing rather than myself.) This is like I disregarded the petrol payment (not to Sains but to elsewhere that happened to get Nectar points) earlier last year as a payment for the points, because that was the cheapest or equal cheapest way of buying petrol at that time, so I would have bought there anyway. Doubtless I shall be having to buy more bread and giving them 40p again and again, as long as they remain cheaper. I did even think of shopping at T, but then would have had to have bought 9 additional items so there was clearly no point or benefit in that.0 -

As for smarmy, I suggest you look up the meaning before you use it to describe windows :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I imagine this combined with distilled water would work a treat.
