When I posted about 1p chocs earlier I had a feeling the elite would already be on to it :rotfl:

Was only thanks to aau spotting something on HUKD earlier.

He thought it was a bit early for Ts but looks like they have not hung around this year. Which might bode well for Mothers day, Easter etc as hopefully more stuff will still be around if things go down earlier. ;)

We said at work this week had gone quick.

Hope your new sideboard is nice :)

It does look a lot better in my hall, got rid of some old metal drawers and a shelf unit.

And once Mr TS has filled it properly with stuff from the kitchen side I will be very happy. As everything will be hidden away. :j

It's only from Argos, worked out just under £260 with the £50 code offer before xmas and it was already put together which swung it for me. No grumbling while it was being put together. ;)

With so much stuff going to 1p this close to xmas i imagine a lot of people were able to fill their boots today

Even so, HUKD never gave the Op any heat

    ETA: 69 degrees :wall:

Also they had some sensation nut box things priced at £4 scanning at £1 :)

Anyone watching Emerdale? If so, did anyone noticed the bowls and cups in the opening scene? Wonder where they got them from and how much they paid???

Wasn't much left in 2 stores I went to but the third had so obviously been ransacked by the amount of empty cartoons.

Last year the seasonal displays had already gone. It was only because the golden balls and liz shaw amaretto were in the choc aisle that I found so many last year. ;)

Wonder if anything will be restocked overnight with the displays still being there.

Except that they are not 9p Creme Eggs:rotfl:. They are 9p Creme Eggs and give a further 35p for each one to Mr A (total £2.10:eek:) that you then have to spend as part payment against a further shop with A, which is then very likely items paid for over the odds or else have to buy a further eight different items on that shop from A in order to make anything on that shop best value and then lose more money on the shop by having to buy 10p fillers to get any comparison vs elsewhere:rotfl:. (So, having saved money on the Creme Eggs, the 9p price goes on to be lost by buying a 10p Haribo on the next shop that you wouldn't have bought, so that the cost of the Creme Eggs is now 1.666...p each more (10p/6), now the Creme Eggs are 10.666...p each:rotfl: and cost an extra 1.666...p for every extra 10p sweets pack on the redemption shop that would not have otherwise been bought were it not for the APG.) Either way, they always keep the money!;) In APG form.:rotfl:
Savvy, you over analyse too much and you waffle far, far, far too much..:rotfl:

    How about this analysis..

    I like vodka.
I spent £10ish on a vvp shop and got £15.50ish back plus products (elixirs & vvps).
I went back in another twice and bought another two vvp shops.
I have now spent £30ish and have £46.50 worth of apgs + 9 products.
I sell the elixirs and vvps at work for £2 each. I make a bit of cash and all my work buddies are very happy with the cheap deals.

So, I now go into A and spend £45 buying 3 litres of their own brand voddie.

And what has it all cost I hear you ask??

Well, I initially spent £30 cash and used the resulting £46.50 apgs on voddie plus fillers. I got £18 from selling the elixirs and vvps and another £4.50 apg from the voddie shop.

    So, the £30 initial spend minus £18, minus £4.50 = £7.50.

When was the last time you managed to buy vodka for £2.50 per litre?:p:p
