made with water and a pinch of salt. Sprinkled with sugar and milk poured on top. have never ate it any differently and not keen on additions.
My OH has his made with milk (which makes him a big Jessie where I come from) That joke has lasted many years with us :rotfl::rotfl:
DS1 and DD will eat sachet porridges but I'm not keen. Ours is still made in a pan on the cooker
My Dad used to do his with salt too!
I take mine cold with dried fruit during the week and with honey and cinnamon at w/e's!"He that lieth down with dogs shall rise up with fleas" Benjamin Franklin

. I really do believe getting down to the same level as your kids is the best way to get close.
Laughter (even if you feel like a plonker) is good
If you laughed and had fun then it was worth it
So is that why so many mothers collect their kids from school in their PJ's, so that they feel like a plonker?? Because they get laughed at“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

Just now doing a "Talk to Morries" survey (I might win something:rotfl:; I never do:rotfl::rotfl:). Yes, I was dissatisfied with the clarity of the prices btw:rotfl:. I bought some Gala apples there on Wednesday, as way more for the price from Morries than the expensive SP from A. I'd decided, on that occasion, that, whether something was in womble form or in real cash, it was still money and that we'd be better leaving the wombles to something else, of better value in A, rather than wasting it, as money, like that. I do notice that I am buying less frequently and have more 'money', whether in wombles or cash, then left.
Which store do I spend most on my groceries? they ask. That would have to be Morries since I'm spending real cash there, and diminishes my bank balance, whereas in A I'm spending vouchers and not real bank balances that really take hits if I buy Gala Apples from M:rotfl:. Click - Morrisons.
Which of these stores do you use for your top-up shopping?:rotfl: Oh, so they are now assuming that because I spend most in Morries that I would be doing top-up shopping perhaps elsewhere (to be fair their list for top-up also includes Morries, but I suppose I could do my most spend (two packs of Gala Apples:rotfl:) in Morries and also do top-ups there. Except that my "most spend" was actually my 'top-up':rotfl:). I suppose that, my top-ups, generally, must be A (and also M on this occasion). Not sure that M are actually getting any useful information from the survey answers here:rotfl::rotfl::D. (My survey answers suggest I'm shopping a lot in Morries, using it as both my main shopping and my top-up, and only topping-up in A. In fact, the precise opposite is the case...:D)
Would you like to enter the price draw? Yes:(, that's the only darn reason I'm on your website:(:(.0 -

I too am having to skip and can honestly say there is just pages and pages and pages of questions about triggers.
I know it might be unpopular.......but does no one read anymore? or search? Ive got it on my skip through so it can't be that difficult
....just saying
Don't worry, if I need the 'trigger':rotfl: (reminds me of cryptic message and then suddenly broom handles):rotfl: I will phone a friend.

Lol, this just reminded me of an episode of fanny cradock where she was doing different ideas for mincemeat. Omelette was the only thing I can remember and it looked thoroughly disgusting :rotfl:
I imagine it being quite nice in porridge, but would have to add nuts too. Bet it's nice in flapjacks too
Was quite nice and I only mixed a teaspoon in. Usually make with water. Grated apple makes a nice addition to porridge.
Might give flapjack a go abailey thankyou xxCherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.
No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.0 -
Out earlier so missed the photo, but congratulations Chrisv.
Thanks for sharing the story about your dad wendyak, it was lovely to read.
I like my porridge made with half milk, half water and topped with honey and a chopped banana. I might have to try it with mincemeat though, we've got rather a lot.0
