Think that maybe a little far fetched ;)
Would a superstore, not ex netto, be closing early at 1103...I think not ;) It's open until 6pm !

    I'd say it's a store specific glitch :D

I wasn't thinking that badly but thinking some might shut at midday. Perhaps I'm thinking of the olden days when Bank Holidays meant most shops closed - maybe I'm showing my age:rotfl:.

    "I'd say it's a store specific glitch."
So would I!:D (Been saying that all along:p:doh::rotfl:.)

small shop in waitrose, the multi did not come off the reduced apples I got today. so instead of 99p x 3 - £2.50 = 47p

I paid £2.97  another part failed shop.

I wonder if alert sa's can stop the multi. :(

most ive EVER paid for 12 apples.

I took the hit so not to draw attention. they better be bloody nice.:p

If they reduced labels are hand written the multi buy does not show, As the staff are partners in the business some of them hand write the label in order for the multi buy to not kick in. HTH

Yesterday was the 31st - the coupons in the mags expired on the 30th.

You were quite fortunate that the SA didn't notice that your coupons were out of date :D

I did not notice, just assumed it was the 31st. I would not have chanced the long drive had I known. I used 4 different sa's

Sorry Wheres My Cashback (and, indeed, that's a very good question), I should have given you more credit - your posts are useful, as they tell us that, if an item is showing an mbuy on msm, but if you can find it at a cheaper price instore than the mbuy price-equivalent (and it must not appear on your receipt with the description "Reduced"), then it may pay to buy the mbuy number.

Looking for a holiday and not getting very far! :o

Think I might have mentioned last year I was lucky enough to be given £600 to be used on a holiday (something to do kind of with work, but not exactly, too complicated to explain!).

That sounds like loads, but it has to be school holidays as I've got kids doing exams, has to be mainland UK (no idea why, just one of the conditions), and I'm struggling to know where to start to be honest!

Am thinking either second week of Easter hols or May half term, as have annual leave for both those. Would like somewhere with a hot tub, which is obviously going to push the price up, but my DD will be doing lots of revision, so would be nice for her to have the tub for when she is having a break. Other than that, not really fussy as to where it is.

I can't leave it til summer as already got a summer holiday booked, then got my op the end of July, and no idea when I'll be fit enough to travel.

Any ideas anyone? Kids want to go to Brighton, no idea why! I don't care really, just be nice to get away.

Afternoon everyone and happy new thread, and new year.

My M's had packs of 6 chicken walkers crisps reduced yesterday, down to 39p per pack, as short dated. (3/1/15)

Big huge container of them, so others might find?

If anyone does, just a hint to say buy in 2's, as it took a multibuy off at the till, so 12 packs for 42p :)

    Surprise, surprise - a Saturday!:D;):rotfl:
