I have a few years ago. It was a pretty small resort. Close to the airport, small beach. We did a lot of cycling but I would imagine some people could get bored there.
I wouldn't return and would suggest Corralejo instead, lots more there.
HTH
Thanks for this, have just looked and it does seem very quiet. We have been to correlejo before.
We are looking at holidays at the moment, somewhere abroad, the kids have 7 weeks off this summer,:mad: and the holidays seem to be cheaper the last 10 days, any suggestions where we can go.
We have only been to places like Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Majorca before, would love to go to greece, but dont know where????0 -
Evening all, only just caught up...
Happy Birthday Mt2M :bdaycake:
and
condolences VT, sorry to hear your sad news0 -
There are some very good offers for Avs Waities at the moment. For example, the 30 pack Shredded Wheat. That's now at the lowest non-glitch price I've seen!
Meanwhile, Sains. has actually put the price down on some of its Basics range. Hardly the range, but only a few items. Including Basics Cornflakes 500g now at 30p, but leave one for me please for my possible shopping tomorrow. That may be Tvs S, or Mvs S if you have the odd point to get to reach £5!
With the SP Bandage apparently disappearing and now having to go for the A Crepe Bandage at 80p, it may be better to get the Sains Basics Bandage in Sains even though it is higher than what A's SP price was. Sains Basics Bandage is 35p. It's not gone down in price (as far as I know) but it's a lower price than the standard one in A.
And they are really trying me now - with Sains Basics bread at 40p. Now is the time that I wish the SP Wholemeal Bread was called Wholemeal online and not Brown. Even though it has been useful when Sains were much more expensive, but I now feel I've paid too much to A for the last several months:rotfl:. But if I just need the bread (as we do every few days:() - tell me about getting more freezer space and I know I ought to just get whoopsies (unreliable sadly in my stores and often still too expensive, and then the 45p bread is all sold out so risking ended up with nothing and we do need bread) - if I just need the bread, is there anything else to get vs Sains?
It's no good when the store elsewhere seems generally more expensive, and would be having to get 10p Haribos that then makes it pointless as costs more than the 6p back vs Sains. It's now therefore so difficult actually getting the best price. It seems I end up paying 5p over the odds in A. I could buy the Sains Basics one of course - however I think it doesn't have preservatives in it and therefore soon goes off (last time I bought a loaf of it, ages ago, it went off the following day - really no good) and no freezer space.
There seem to be some good Tvs S items at the moment too, so much so I might save them all somewhere, later, and do a Tvs S list. Possibly added with some of the Eday Value Wholemeal bread (but need to check they are both Medium Sliced and exact versions carefully). Won't be anywhere near yet though - I've got possibly Sains., then Morrisons and RL and an APG threatening to go out of date ( I don't normally leave them that long) - not quite yet, but early next week, which effectively means this week as I won't get to it before Morrisons next Monday. All this forward planning - I think it's just the Asperger's life (:o:ooops, I shouldn't mention that again, been trying not to:D).0 -

My Dad went within an hour of me leaving himI got home to a message on the answerphone. I know he didn't want me to be there. Stubborn beggar
:A
Yes exactly the same, one hour after discussing my sister she got the call.
Things had turned very bad. Dad always said he would know his time when his little boy knocked the door for him. So we believe my young brother guided him through the door.
Emotions are all over the place and harder as I am not at home and dd on 12 hours shifts so no time for a hug until Friday. Seeing my d's to motto.
Thank you for all your kindness and cyber hugs.

We went in September last year and it was lovely. Not too quiet, ate out at some great restaurants, different one every night. We found plenty to keep us amused and the kids enjoyed it. I would go again. Hth0 -
Ok. Mr A is now no longer able to thwart my Sains shopping (BM scan for today would now have been done). Just need to wait now to see if Mr S is playing ball. I shall get mad if prices go down on any of the branded stuff!:rotfl: A more efficient shop would be if there were a price increase of 35p on one of the branded items I have Mr S! Then I won't need a 25p own brand item and an Haribo and 35p will be added to the BM back. A 35p price increase. Please, pretty please.
I think (nay, I know;)) I'm looking forward to M today as being in M is going to be the most quiet part of the day (I'm expecting everything else to be hectic). Thank goodness that, if all goes to plan!, I will be in my usual M stores today (or at least, actually the usual ones for the Monday, not that you needed to know any of this:rotfl::rotfl:, but I'm doing it the other way around this week so that today should be far better than Monday was).
Bye now:wave:.0 -

This is an excellent price for honey....hope this is one that doesn't compare:rotfl:
