I want get fillers for the food bank but keep buying single onions etc. I'm now overrun with onions, parsnips and 10p sweets lol. And we have a huge crop of onions and parsnips at the allotment so I must stop.
My 2015 aim is to stop buying wasteful fillers just for the ease of it and actually buy fillers I will use or fillers I can donate to the food bank.
I was sure I saw a list in a previous thread somewhere but have searched and can't find it. I could of course just be imagining there was one lol
Not sure I've seen a list for a while but then I've done a lot of skipping:)
Some of the value range tinned veg/ baked beans compares and are ideal for the food bank as are the value 4 pk packet soups, 29p pasta, spaghetti etc but check which shops they compare well with as not all of them are favourable:)0 -

So in future I won't be buying 2 tubs of coleslaw for 11p each when we can only eat one, nor will I be buying a bag of lemons just because they are 8p just to watch them go soft.
However I will still buy a trolley load of cheap tomatoes as I will prepare and cook them with love and devotion:smileyhea:smileyhea0 -
