Hello all and a very belated happy new year to all .
I had a very scary day yesterday my DS1 who has additional needs had a tonic-clonic continual seizures for nearly 90 minutes. This was the first time it had happened. He is only 7 years old. I was so scared I thought he was going to die. He couldnt breath and the hospital had to put him in an induced coma to stop the seizure. I spent the night with him at hospital and my OH is with him tonight while Im at home looking after DS2. He had a CT scan that came out clear but he was being tested for encephalitis and meningitis but they don't believe it s that. This week they will be keeping him in all week and running tests EEG's and a MRI to check for why he had the seizure. They told me that even with the investigations it may not be epilepsy but its likely as he already has an existing brain injury with a right sided hemiplegia and ASD.
They have started him on a drug called carbemazapine he has to have it twice a day on top of the raft of antibiotics and antivirals they have given him as a precaution. I am so thankful to the NHS . They saved his life yesterday.weight watchers member since 17.2.15

Gosh troutabout, that sounds scary, I'm so glad that your son is in the right place and being treated. Thoughts are with you.0 -

Showing as £3 on APG.
Actually £2 in many stores?
So working out at £0.12 each if that's the case, is that right?
They were reported as £1.50 instore vs £3 online yesterday. It's one you need to check first & be careful with though.Bitcoin. If you haven't heard of it, you have now.0 -
Hi - I'm here at last! Not the biggest change in M today (this time last week was more) but going to the bank did knock me off my routine. I'll be glad to be back in my usual Ms on Wednesday. I'm therefore just mentioning a few random items for now and had another 'family emergency' in the meantime that has just been sorted before I have now got here. So it's all been hectic (now is the time I can relax...:)).
I have the SP Wrapping Foil equivalent at 48p in one M. So what do I do to try to confirm if that is indeed the case? Go to another M - and get a different answer. Then I try another M - and get a third, different answer:(. In fact the SP Foil is 48p in one store and 75p in two others, but just to illustrate what kind of a day it's been:rotfl:. The 48p price on the foil may be store-specific and will not be working. Therefore, I'd leave this off for now and allow other Ms to catch up with their SELs, if this isn't store specific, and for me to confirm with my other big store on Wednesday.
Thai Green Curry tin is still 50p in M. However the Chicken in Red Wine Sauce (unfortunately only a 'buy in M') has gone up from 50p to "everyday low price" £1.29:(:rotfl:. The Carrots and Parsnips have come out of the 3 for £1.50 but the Sprout Stalks, Sprouts and Swede are still in it.
I have the own brand Chilli Cheese Pasta Bake as having gone down further in one M, but the other still has it at 79p. Meanwhile, the Homepride Pasta Bakes are off - so it's now rush out to Mr A as the next update (probably tomorrow late morning) will likely go from 79p to £1.59 - come on, you've had plenty of time on them - why leave it to the last day? I'm sure not to worry or rush as I'm sure they'll go back on at some point in the future.
Terry's Milk Chocolate Orange appears to have gone off b1g2f - I only now have it tucked in the actual aisles and not out in the promo. baskets. It seems to be straight £2.75. However, I have one store that says 75p:D. Maybe it is 75p and the other useless:rotfl: ones haven't changed the price on their SELs. Again, maybe wait until Wednesday to see if it is - or perhaps it's 75p now in M but will go straight up to £2.75 in all stores on Wednesday and be missed:rotfl:.
I can't find Martini Prosecco today - not in any of the stores including the biggest one I checked. It may be ended on offer and be OOS now - again another to go to Wednesday. I do know that's it's not on msm for M (at least it wasn't last time I checked last week), so I did try to do a thorough search - sorry, not found.
Also having trouble with the Oven Muffins (yet again:(:(:rotfl:) - not found in any of the three stores (and they're different to my normal ones:rotfl::() today, so they may or may not work. I do know 'Fresh Tastes' Diced Swede has already gone N/A on the APG - M have only had Diced Carrot & Swede for a time now, so it's not just me it's the APG collectors not finding it either. I know that because of my own A shop today (yes, it was that hectic:D:rotfl:), my A store had no Carrot & Swede, only Swede so I picked that up and bought it anyway as it doesn't lose that much.
The Kingsmill Pancakes and Syrup/Sultana Pancakes - I think it's a no-no regarding them comparing to M. I have seen no stock for a while: all I have now is one errant SEL, on the Pancakes only and not the Syrup/Sultana version - this means absolutely nothing btw - in one store only and that store isn't the largest and I don't think the APG would even be getting that. They were risky last Monday, even riskier last Wednesday, I think they are now even more highly unlikely to compare (famous last words:rotfl:).
And, yeah, last words as I have got a bit to go through, despite saying it wasn't a biggest change, so probably best I get onto it and just change the M list, as opposed to mentioning here and spending time on that only to spend the time again putting them off or on the list:cool:. NYC soups likely going to go off btw - now £2.0 -

Trout, my thoughts are with you and your son at this time. For all the bad press the NHS get when you have someone in their hands they always do their best, and that's something I find clear to see. The DR's and Nurses are not rewarded highly enough for their dedication to their practice and I am glad to see this is no different here.0 -

Thanks
I cant begin to tell you how scary it was and hoe helpless I felt. I didnt know what was happening, I thought he was having a strokeHe was shaking losing his balance bouncing upand down not being able to get his words out or breathe I just screamed at my husband call 999. I feel so lucky he is recovering and alive.
Well just take a day at a a time and hope he continues to make the good recovery he's making at the moment and pray it was a freakish on off.weight watchers member since 17.2.15

Good evening... Just a quick question....
Heading to morrisons for my mum, if there are whoopsies; do they work like T... 3 for £10 etc discount coming off reduced price?
Thank you
XI got some good whoopsies over xmas when they were 3rd reduction went through ss and the discount came off:)....but if the discount is more than the price of the items ....no discount, item comes up at just reduced price. so don't go into a minus then you are fine. I put a couple of items through first to check.
HTH
Sometimes lazy (or more efficient for them ) SA might scan something not in the multi and stick the yellow stickers on everything - your rtc 3 for £10 chicken might show as reduced chicken wings perhaps.
If you check the reduced barcode, it should contain the original barcode within it around the middle of the code.
I put 2x packs of 9p custard tarts (64p each 2 for £1) through SS and it came up -18p..this was the first rtc multi i had tried in M and didn't expect it as they have 'excluded from multilink' stickers all over them :rotfl: the SS machine went bonkers and SA had to manually charge me 18p
