Evening all... and belated happy new years
Been totally non-elite for the past few weeks due to my Christmas abroad and then came home and have caught some annoying virus that's been sucking the energy out of me.
Still figured that today if I was well enough to sit up in bed I could still manage an online shop :rotfl: So hopefully have tobs and sanex tomorrow am.
Thanks to whoever found them originally - I'm afraid I couldn't read back that far!
Now I'm going to curl up and catch up on all those Christmas Specials I missed while out of the country. Downton Abbey next I think0 -

We cant all have the same views or it would be a boring world.

Good god I was only saying the chap had served his time so should be allowed to play football again and she went off on one

I'm sorry lovely tweets, I share your mums view too. When push comes to shove, he is a convicted rapist. Footballers, rightly or wrongly, find themselves in priviledged positions and fir his own safety, as well as women everywhere, it would be better for all if he just crawled back under the rock he came from xI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. Totally agree, he hasn't served anywhere near his time.
As a professional footballer he is idolised by young people - he is a convicted rapist and shown no remorse. The poor woman has been hounded ever since
If he was a policeman/doctor/lawyer would he be allowed to return to his profession?0 -

I've been home for a bit but only just got sat down. I arrived home to what can only be described as utter carnage ......more about that later. Firstly there's something more pressing I have to get off my chest
I had an unexpected encounter with the lovely Barbie today  she arrived early at DS2 before I'd left. I really do not know if that woman is just really, really crass or if she's a total female dog
Firstly she spent seriously far too long sucking half his face off....whilst I frantically looked around to see if there were any pins I could stick in my eyes  bleurgh :rotfl:
Then she started telling him how he really should have come home with her for the holidays because she had such an amazing time. He replied to that that he had had an amazing time being at home too.
I sensed a little tension there .........
The penny dropped that she must have asked him to go with her and he'd said no. She sounded like she was still slightly peed off about it  she obviously took it out in us with anti-wrinkle cream and cod books  :rotfl::rotfl: and I had given her the benefit of the doubt, thinking she was maybe just thoughtless.....:D :rotfl:
So then she made a sniffing noise and said to me 'what is that perfume you're wearing, it's very unusual' Feeling flattered.....I told her. Then being helpful I told her it was sometimes hard to come by but I often found it at Duty Free at the airport. To that she replied (say in an American accent) [sarcastic laugh] 'Oh no sweetie, I don't want to buy some. I find perfume that smells of fruit makes me feel a little icky and boy is that fruity':eek:
My mouth smiled at her and said 'Well taste in perfume is the same as taste in anything else....diverse. Thank goodness we all don't share the same tastes' [sarcastc laugh]
My brain said......'So not only am I wrinkled but I smell like an icky fruit. Cheers you false boobed, hair flicking, baby snatching cougar' :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Cheeky mare  And I insisted on kissing both her cheeks before I left. I hope she got a good whiff of ickiness !!
Sympathy FC. All I can say is that I call DS1 OH 'the evil one'. I could cope with her being closer to my age than his... if she was nice.
Sadly she is just evil!100 -

Thats true!
Putting aside for one minute he is a convicted rapist, I am genuinely intrigued as to why so many clubs are interested in him. He has been out of the game for a couple of years. Are there genuinely that few up and coming footballers coming through that there aren't enough that could play better than him and satisfy the clubs? Or is there more to it than that? I thought we were a footballing nation with loads of promising young players?
This is a genuine question, not to debate the rights and wrongs of him being signed.0
