I'm off. have a trip to Liverpool to take yet more of DS1 stuff to him (he's not insured to drive the big car and I'm glad because I get to spend another day with him :o ) He's just bought his first property so very much excitement. He used the money my Dad left him to make what I think is a very good investment.

He also has an audition for the Liverpool Philharmonic Ocherstra this week. I've no doubt he will whizz it :D
He has also told me he will be proceeding with his application to join the army this year :o don't know how I feel about that? But he's doing it with a good education behind him if he does. Hes looking at joining the music corps. We will see

Goodnight and thanks to my buddy LFAB for the company :A I'll see you on the floor tomorrow :D

Have a safe trip tomorrow and all the best to your DS with everything he's got going on :A

I'm looking forward to it already :D:D

    Good night lovely lady x

Hall's Haggis (454g) has gone from 2 for £3.00 to straight £1.67 to £1.50 (doubtless a way to mark £1.50 as a r'back price when people may have been more likely to buy 2 on 2 for £3 and pay the same for each anyway as now - although, of course, people can buy one now at £1.50). May be in 2s vs Morries - 2 for £3 but this is one I think is a bit risky.

(...And the message is too short even with the "S10CT", which it keeps putting into lower case if I put a full stop after it:mad::rotfl::rotfl:. I don't want a full stop there! I guess I should be non-pedantic about my wish and insistence to have an acronym in capital letters lol:rotfl: - oh well, at least this revision won't now be too short!:p:rotfl::rotfl:) (Sorry aau1, and everyone else, for my rant.)

DD2 travelled up the M6 tonight and is safely back. Relief. :o

I am meant to help my girls on the property ladder with my inheritance, my mum told me how much they were each to have but I don't think it will go anywhere near a deposit nowadays.

It will be enough to be a big help to them but can't see DD1 and her BF affording to buy for a long time yet. House prices down here pretty high and commuter belt of London where they are now even worse. :(

I feel so sorry for them and for rhosynbach's DD, with the awful news from her landlady. It's not easy getting on that first rung. Well done to your DS. :T

ASDA Butcher's Selection British Pork Shoulder Roast by Weight (1.6Kg) now £2/kg (best price per kg I've seen on Pork Shoulder, that isn't short-date or full price that goes through at half price at T). I don't think M is anywhere around that weight (not even by 20%) so I doubt it will compare other way (M vs A) and a.com marks this as typically 1.6kg. If you want that much pork, it's excellent value IMO (ignoring the reduced date and DTD ones). I've removed it on the M list (which I'm currently doing offline and once I've finished I'll post) as now loses out if it compares vs M at £2.49/kg - A is over 10% cheaper.

Possibly to try to confuse us (and maybe their own staff:rotfl:), A appear to have increased the price of some of the NYC soups (yes, those ones;), as if you need them...:rotfl:) from £1.50 to £1.98. Some £1.50 have been left at £1.50 and others went down to 98p earlier, but some £1.50 are now £1.98. The details, of which way they've all gone, can be seen by the A price now on the M list (and, as regards non-comparable to M - why? - see msm!).

Okay - I can now post the first part of the M list, as I've finished that. Now onto a lot of frozen items - and I feel the list in that section needs a lot of sorting out to put the items into a more logical order. It goes from one type of product to another and back again. A lot of sorting out to do!
