Evening all

Hope nanny is OK. Mum is just starting to break the back of this bug but terribly weak with a bad cough. Trying the new broncho stop syrup.

Dad is doing very well. He is reading a bit and asking about things not relating to food or drugs like his house and garden. Before Xmas a dear friend of my sisters went to dad's with her son and they cleared all the leaves. She had to phone bil for address but such a lovely thing to do. In return my sister made her 100 pompoms so Brody could have a snowball fight with his cousins Xmas day. The adults tried it out with 50 but wasn't enough. The joys of a pompom maker:eek:

I was dragged out the house yesterday by my bmf and we bought chocolate. Didn't bother when glitch was online as have few presents to buy as dgd is not allowed it. I got the £2.50 tubs to give at easter and a few sets of Thornton continentals and lots of choc coins. Bmf remembers his mum always put them in his stocking so I splashed out 72p for 6 nets.

Today has been a pottering round house day and have attacked the bathroom so can play with new steamer tomorrow. Need a dispenser for the Mr T baby bath as I keep it for dgd so might as well put in a hand wash dispenser for dual purpose plus will look nicer.

Running commentary...er, no:rotfl:. I notice that the 500g Parsnips packs have very "conveniently" come back into stock in A after T has risen the price from 49p to £1:(. Might still be able to compare 3 vs M at 3 for £1.50, not that that's as good, maybe mix and match with Sprout Stalks - I've no idea as I haven't reached that part of the list yet:rotfl:. Mix and match mbuying vs M very risky anyway.

As I don't like wine I have no idea of its any good but on shopitize hardy stamp has c/b In Asda it is 7.50 but 4.75 in saiins. There is 2.50 back so less than 2.50 for the bottle.

Jacobs creek also has 2.50 c/b but wine is dearer

I'm only away a few hours but I feel like you are all talking another language......and so strange to see all the Waitrose shops:)

Thank you to SFSB I did a couple of Sanex/ deo shops. It was like the old days....I actually came home, waited 3 hours and printed out the APG before heading out again.....no diesel wasted as I was passing anyway:T so no hard cash spent either:T. Used a couple of pizza vouchers...the manufacturer printed ones. I was hoping for overage but it didn't happen:o.

Can't find Toblerones but there's Milk Tray 200g reduced down from £4 to 88p. Doesn't compare anywhere:o
