Everyday Loans

Options
Hi All,

New to the site, and not sure if I'm in the right place! Also, I hope it makes sense!

A little while ago I found myself in need of a loan, my credit rating is poor, and found myself with Everyday loans as the only option. (Car died and needed a replacement as my job is 26 miles away, on not on a bus route, and with two kids to get to childcare I was desperate!)

Going through the process, I was never told of the total cost and not given a payment schedule even though I asked, I was given the run around with the answer. I was under pressure at the time to get back to work after taking time off on leave to sort it out so blindly went ahead.

Now the loan is complete, I've asked for a statement of payments and I was told that's not possible.

A friend has advised that I should have been made aware of the full cost prior to taking the loan and they could owe me money. Is this likely? My loan was for 1500 and I paid approx 2000 on top of this to settle over 18 months.

Assuming this isn't trolling start with a letter requesting the paperwork with full disclosure (sent by post with follow up via email):

Which is why you couldn't be bothered to read what you were signing up for.
What sort of loan were you expecting from such a company?

They only lend to people who are so desperate all they see is pound signs and care nothing for the cost.

If you want a decent loan, go to a bank.

You had terms and conditions of the loan in black and white in front of you. Asking questions and getting no answers would tell me to read the T&C's throughout before committing to the loan. All you have now is a signed piece of paper agreeing to their terms.
