Old Christmas Cards

I was wondering what everyone does with their old Christmas cards?


Do you:
recycle them
make gift tags
keep them


Id love to hear what everyone does and what other ideas people have to do with them!


My new years resolution is to be more crafty, so I might make gift tags

I usually just put mine in the recycling bin that the council pick up....

2queenlizard45uk Try to search the forum, something like "what to do with Christmas cards". I think last year, but maybe a year before, it was a tread with some craft suggestions and somebody gave a link to how to do 3D balls out of recycled cards. It's really beautiful. Not exactly smoothly round but with edges going out of the surface.

I pop mine in the loft and they come out next Christmas with the craft things for the kiddies to cut up and make a mess / gift tags / new cards

My wife cuts tags out the nicest pictures and makes some really nice tags with ribbons - Last Christmas she bought a set of 7 sets of scissors each with a different cut pattern specially for the job

I use mine, and my friend's and family's, to make gift tags, toppers for next years cards and gift boxes for small things. They're very useful if you want to get crafty.

All of the above.

I keep the special ones, make gift tags with some and recycle the rest.
