Check out Ryanair prices to the canaries - some flights are so cheap it's silly.

Went to Lanzarote first week of December this year for £30 each way with Ryanair. This price was available for several weeks in advance, including just a few days before the day of the flight.

The outgoing flight had many vacant seats, although the return was full.

That's great. I can think of nothing worse than the 2 hour bus trip to Dublin Airport then even worse the 2 hour bus trip back to Belfast.Bad enough in the summer. Never mind Nov/ Dec.Suppose it's whatever turn's you on.;)

With savings like that, you could probably take a taxi and still be ahead.

But then the say £10 you would save wouldn't be a
saving. It would be just proving a point.Personally the travelling to Dublin then back again is really only worth the £100's you save if your flying to the States or Canada.
  • I live in Downpatrick and actually prefer flying out of Dublin to Belfast International. There is a much greater choice of flights and parking is now quite reasonable. It doesn't take me that much longer to drive to Dublin than it does to International so well worth it for not having to take the only flight out at 6am when I can choose from 4 spread out across the day.

Agree it's whatever airport suits.I live in East Belfast it only takes me 25-30 mins to get to international or 10 mins to get to city. This usually gives me loads of choice for flights and times.Posted because really thought £75 including 22kg of luggage was great for flight to Canaries in December.I've been going to Canaries for winter sun for last 6 years and have never seen such cheap flights, this is the busiest time of year in Lanzorte. Probably should have used Hukd to show prices.Hope david39 lets us all know when the Ryanair £30 inc luggage flights appear again.Told my son about them and he's waiting to book them for himself and a group of friends.:)
