MSE Just posted an article about this :

    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/shopping/2014/12/waiting-for-a-city-link-delivery-you-may-have-to-collect-it

"You'll need to bring bring their proof of purchase, plus proof of ID and proof of address. "

Not sure you supply Proof of Purchase if it's a competition win?
  • Many thanks for all the replies and for Toniq for offering to collect for me, very appreciated

Have managed to sort something with both comp wins, luckily they are both larger companies so was a bit easier and they are going to sort out getting a new prize out

No idea if they will be able to get the original parcel back though

    Thanks again

Glad you got it sorted, there's an update on FB for Parcels2GO on this, although I'm not really sure what it means ... in case anyone else is following the story.

    CITY LINK UPDATE
As you may be aware City Link recently went into administration and as a result of this some parcels are currently in City Link depots awaiting collection. Also there are some limited numbers of InPost parcels in lockers as City Link was the carrier they used.
InPost are making arrangements to have parcels currently held in lockers collected and forwarded onto the original recipient and they will also have a new carrier so that normal service can resume.
In terms of City Link or InPost parcels currently held in City Link depots, we are making every effort to locate and deliver all parcels currently in their network and will be updating customers as soon as further information is available. Once your parcel has been located we will again contact you with further information on when this will be delivered.
In the event that your parcel is at the depot and you would like to collect it, please contact our live help for further advice how to locate the depot.
Should you be unable to attend the delivery depot, we will be in touch with you again in the next day or two with further information. Naturally, we sincerely apologise for the impact that this unexpected development is having. Please be assured we will be monitoring all parcels within the City Link network and continue to do so until such time as all items are located and delivered.
    Thanks for your understanding.
