I just got a search award for 39 swagbucks for 'wheelchair', but after I entered the captcha and went to see my total, nothing had changed. I went into my account, and the last amount given was for watching a video several minutes ago. What did I do wrong? :(:(

I had the same thing happen to me last night. Was rather miffed but not sure if anything can be done about it.

I would probably keep the search win page open and open the My SB page on a different window so you can screenshot if anything goes wrong.

But in my experience they credit unless you leave it too long to type in the captcha or type it wrongly (although lately they give you another chance to enter another one).

The other day I did the captcha correctly but my balance didn't change. I kept getting a new captcha, about 6 all of which I entered correctly. I was just about to take a screenshot when it finally worked.

That's happened to me before. I just contacted them to say it didn't credit and they credited it for me.

Did you get a screenshot?

if the search fault happened today or recently, you might be able to find the page still in your browser history. Then you can open it and take the screenshot anyway.
