"sometimes" rebooting your router may give you an IP address in a different block which may not be affected, but its hit and miss.
Out of interest , who is your ISP?

I'm with Plusnet- the phone seems to be working today and has given me a limit of 36sb. Thanks for the advice, I shall remember that if it happens again.
