Just a word of warning to anyone running SB apps on an expensive phone. SB apps were confirmed by Motorola as the cause of the death of my OH's mobile. He had a Moto G and it was only 9 months old. The constant running of the apps had totally done in the battery, in addition to causing a software/ hardware problem (not sure which now as not techie). This said I appear to have been running them on my iPhone without any hitches- however I often manually run them rather than leaving them to credit. The apps are so slow when you leave them to run, the fact that his phone was on for a good 12-18 hours straight running them obviously wasn't good for it.
Anyway, we are definitely going to buy a cheapie phone to run apps on from now on.Minimalist

How could they possibly carry a port-mortem on your phone and declare it was due to a certain app?
Anyway there's a cheap and cheerful £20 Alcatel on sale at Sainsbury's.0 -
Lol, I'm with ciaccino on this one.
How can anyone tell your phone died to an app?
Yes - using your phone extensively can drain battery life. My colleague refused to run the apps based on this reason. But seriously? You're earning about £5 a week which is £260 enough to buy a non trigger happy expensive phone for anyone.
My phone is nearly 3 years old now and I run apps all the time (and ran perk for a while) and it's still going strong.
To be honest I don't like iphone as they seem to have all sorts of problems.0 -

.
I totally agree with ciaccino, there's absolutely no way an app can affect the phones programming unless it's one like CyrogenMod which actually replaces the OS software on the phone with a custom OS, I've hacked enough android phones before to know it's actual very hard to screw up the OS.
It sounds to me that Motorola are trying to get out of the warranty.
But what may kill a Lithium battery is leaving it discharged all the time - it's the few one things that will.Don't take life too seriously, no one gets out alive0
