uh oh ... looks like they are starting to reduce the amount you can get from the apps.... Sport.ly is now capped at 10 SB ... :eek:0

It changed today. You will get a pop up message when you try and run sport.ly that it is now capped at 10SB. Try it.
Only a matter of time before they do the same to the others... just when you get SBTV apps they take away the existing allowance

just take advantage of the apps while we have them i think the cap will go up and down hopefully its not going to be 10sb per app though.
I doubt the americans will like it !
they will probably increase the cap leading upto christmas.0 -

unfortunately the amount started off very high on all the apps (when they started some time back they were only available in the US) and the daily amounts have only ever gone down steadily over time. In the run up to Christmas they tend to up the swagbucks on other areas (such as 'Go on a Discovery Break' which you only get in the US - very similar to SBTV where you have to manually continue through 10 times to get 2 SB - but instead of videos its normally web pages that you need to view - in Decemeber last year it went to 3 SB instead of 2) - but I've never heard of the totals on the apps going up historically
Also if they've done it for one app - they will probably do it for all of them that were on daily allowance of 18SB... at least again, historically they've always kept them the same (apart from SBTV app)0 -

oh drat !
I think there are some apps that are american only or have we got them all now ? perhaps we will get them at some point.
i can't really complain as its still easy to make the first target via the apps alone.0 -

I think we have them all the same as the US now.
Would you beleive when they first started you could get 300+ SB on them...by the time they got to us it was down to 126, now currently 118.
As you say though - we really should not complain and enjoy whilst it lasts - its basically the easiest swagbucks you can earn and I'm really not sure what Swagbucks as a company gains from them. I think in the US maybe there are adverts stuck in the middle of the videos - I've not seen any in the UK ones.0 -
I just noticed that sportly.tv had an update last nite so watch out to see if the others follow suit0

I usually see two or three adverts at the beginning of the first videos of whichever App I run first.
I was surprised to see, on the daily poll asking how we earn most SBs, that only 5% or so said through the Apps, most said Surveys.0 -
Just ran lifestylz and got the usual 18SBThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
