Are the surveys working for people? When I click on Partner or Peanut Lab surveys, I just get the side bar menu and nothing loads where the different surveys usually are.

They don't show up for everyone and they are filled very quickly. Also if you have adblocker, it is likely that you won't see them.
Sometimes changing browser also works.

It is usually best to open a new thread once the post count reaches around 9000 posts, as above that it slows down the forum program loading times etc... so yes this thread will not last a full year.
