Yay!! Well done on your first redemption:D
You can cancel straight away, you will notice on your statement they charge your £1 but it's refunded immediately, think they do that just to confirm it's a valid credit card.

I currently have a 47 SB(!) instant survey popping up on the homepage - but when I click it doesn't work - tells me to visit the dashboard for more opportunities as it usually does when you finish one

I have the same-I'm guessing it's a swagbucks error and will vanish soon!
