Slightly off topic but are there any clever people on here who can help me or know of an app or spread sheet with formula already out there for this function. Basically I want to work out my daily SB target for certain rewards each month.

Currently I just use the pc calculator, input reward total minus SB already got then divide by how many days lefts in the month.

A bit sad but it got me wondering as I noticed some would go for the £100 paypal after 5 months or others would cash out £5 weekly.

Peanut labs 30sb survey "Is your household income over £75,000?"

Do you think I'd be on swagbucks if it was? :rotfl:

Interesting you say that but have you noticed how many people are doing swagbucks but comment that there are not enough apps for their expensive iPhone?

I think you might be surprised the range of incomes people have on here. It would be fascinating if they could do a poll. You have some people who really are struggling to make ends meet and every penny counts. Others might do it as a second job to earn some beer money. Some people simply do it as a hobby.

In my case I'm a little OCD and know full well that the reward compared to the time I spend on swagbucks is really not worth it but feel a little compelled to reach at least the first goal every day and get very annoyed if I don't :D

However, the 5 apps on android and a few minutes doing the repeating daily swagbucks bits and bobs ONLY has finally made this almost worth it for the time. Its not as passive as running Perk TV/Quiz but its getting there. The apps + games + a search + a few daily clicks is around 150 SB/75p a day, £25 (including bonuses) a month. (Assuming you will change up for Paypal - for gift cards I guess it would be worth even more)

£300 a year - that's the same as the interest you would get on £15,000 in a 2% paying account (before tax).

That's worth doing in my book - regardless of how much you earn (and of course, if you have the time!) Especially when you think most peoples hobbies COST money!

So my question to you (or anyone else on here for discussion) is , and its just out of interest , if your income suddenly did go to £75,000 a year but you could still earn the above £300 a year on Swagbucks almost passively... would you really not bother?
  • Anyone else try a PL survey this morning that kept shutting down on the first page? It was a 5 min one on miscellaneous. The weird thing is that it jumped me out of Safari on my iPad PLUS managed to log me out of Swagbucks & MSE at the same time. Kinda freaked me out a little.

Only recently started doing the Apps. Have got the shorter clips favourited, bar the Indy app. Have tried all the shorter ones on the Reddit list for several days, but none have been available yet. The best I've found and saved is 2 min 10 secs. Not really got time to babysit it and click on each time.

So, if anyone notices an Indy clip available that is shorter than 2.10, I'd be very grateful. Fingers crossed!

Maybe because they've got their I-phone on credit? Who buys smartphones cash nowadays? Well, I do, because I'm poor and have no credit.

I'm not having a go at people with iPhones or iPads- all I was trying to do was use an example of the different types of people who do swagbucks. Credit or not, if people were truly strapped for cash - they would get a cheaper device than an Apple product, even an older model - which implies that peoples financial circumstances, who do Swagbucks, might be more varied than people think.

The answer I'm interested in is at what point (how much they earn) people would suddenly say - can't be bothered/ its not worth it?

Well not sure - I think I have started to see it as a challenge rather than an income :) I have a lot of room to cut back on spending If I need. Also as you say approx £300 with little/medium effort sounds good to me regardless of my income. Also I don't have savings to earn interest on them :P

However, I don't have kids, my job isn't exactly demanding nowadays, I rarely watch TV. I'm mostly online, speak to friends over internet etc. So for me very easy to do stuff on SB or other websites.

Regardless of the income, I think I'd continue.

I do it as an income topup. I figure when I'm sat here doing nothing I might as well earn some cash!

An interesting response that's really made me think Richyp! For reference my husband and I both work and are fairly comfortably off but we are desperately saving for a house deposit so for me Swagbucks is a little extra. I get Amazon giftcards for buying birthday presents etc for the family - every little helps at this stage in my life!

Maybe we could submit it as a daily poll question - "If you were a millionaire would you still swagbuck" :)
