I have a question in regards to tax on swagbucks vouchers. I'm thinking, if quidco cashback isn't taxable since it's seen as a reduction in your purchase rather than given to you for work you did and Swagbucks gives you SB for purchasing through them. How do we actually determine what percentage of what we get from Swagbucks is taxable if we obtain SB from various different methods?

MSE say it is taxable. Good enough for me! :D

My daily goal today is 29SB! Anyone else have a strangely low daily goal? Haven't seen it at less than 80SB in as long as I can remember!
    Mortgage received 21/12/2018
    Mortgage at start - £261,980
    Current mortgage - £260,276
Saving towards a loft conversion first, then to smash the mortgage down!

I think all/almost all have a first goal of 29, I'm assuming it because it's leap year, i.e. 29 Feb.

    Hi again
I've googled it. Seems there are pages and pages of folk and antivirus people saying there is a genuine threat to your personal information if you install the SB toolbar and change your search engine.
I am disappointed, I saw this as a genuine way of earning a little extra before the baby arrives, now I'm concerned about the security of my laptop.

People can (and have disagreed with me over this before) but I nearly lost my entire laptop after installing the SB toolbar. I will NEVER EVER install it again! It's full of viruses and malware and probably worse! A few pence is not worth an expensive item like a laptop and your online security.

But to give balance (and NOT for a moment dispute Wizzbang's experience or opinion), there are tens or even hundreds of thousands of people worldwide using the current version without issue. The old version was a problem, for sure.

Swagbucks have not had the toolbar for a long time, at least 18 months, they have an addon button that works differently with browsers.

The old toolbar was provided via a 3rd party toolbar supplier who provided toolbars for many different sites (inc McAfee), and would also install other things IF you did not have the right settings applied or you changed them, and the toolbar it's self was the target of several virus's.

I once had lots of problems when i used to run msdos 3.0 ;)
