Mich- .. I just want to point out that you're going to get a msg from MSE soon saying they've removed your signature because it's too long and the forum doesn't have capacity for that type of thing.

Think you must be a little confused WB as to what a sig file is, ... Mich's sig file is shorter than yours (and in a smaller font) and in any case, there will be a character limit set in the admin control panel. The sig file is under the grey line at the end of a post. The vBulletin forum program, can cope with a 3 line sig file no problem ;)

As for the "ridiculous amount of space from a visual point too", quoteing only the relevant (minimalistic) part of a post also helps reduce things ;)

I am glad you posted tho as i just got 39sb search win (+ my last CB +20 bonus) for "the forum doesn't have capacity for that type of thing."

Apologies if I am incorrect, I was trying to be helpful. MSE contacted me once when I had only a 3 or 4 line signature- Mich's is much longer than that (in terms of lines) and is visually taking up much more space than mine did, when I was contacted. Or so it appears to me, though I know nothing about computers and all that techie stuff. But there was no character limit to alert me when I accidentally exceeded it. Sounds like I am wrong. I also don't know what WB is nor how to only quote certain parts of a post, @Fragmented, can you enlighten me?

EDIT: I see now that this SB daily goal is actually in every main post that Mich does. I guess than it will not be counted as taking up too much space.
