Dishwashers - so much choice??

We are after a new dishwasher and trying to see if we can grab a bargain in the sales.
I'm looking for somewhere between the £200-£300 mark. Cheaper, obviously better - but want the best quality we can get in that price bracket. We've never bought a dishwasher before, so I don't really know what we are looking for.
We are only a couple at the moment, but we do like to have guests round from time to time, so one that does 'half loads' but would also accommodate when we have guests would be great. The space we have to fit it in is a 'full sized' dishwasher size.
Our washing machine is a Hotpoint machine in graphite grey which meant I was looking at THIS ONE to match, but matching isn't a necessity. Our washing machine is pretty old and is likely to need replacing within the next couple of years anyway.
THIS ONE is a little cheaper in the middle of our price bracket. Or THIS ONE is a little cheaper again.
Other than small differences in the noise levels and amount of water used (though most in my price bracket are A+ energy rating) I can't really see much between them - but then I also don't really know what I'm looking at.
I would prefer a grey/silver I think as white plastic tends to go all funny after a while, and most things in our kitchen is a grey or silver colour (kettle, microwave, washing machine, etc)
We live in a hard water area if that affects anything.
Has anyone got any advice?
EDIT: I don't feel the need to have to buy it from Currys, just happened to be the website I was looking at.
Thanks.

My Bosch dishwasher has outlived 3 indesit/similar cheaper models.
For me the important things aren't the colour, but how sturdy the arms are, especially the rotary joints, and how easy is to clean the filters.0 -
Thanks.
How can I tell how sturdy the arms are and how easy it is to clean before I buy it? Is Bosch a brand that is known for that?
I literally have no clue when it comes to dishwashers... Haha.Save in 2014 Challenge: #193 £4,197.70/£50000 -
There is a forum called white goods you could peruse and post on.
Only thing I find annoying with my Bosch dishwasher is if bits of eggshell get stuck in the arms , it's a bit tricky to get out0 -

Don't matter what tabs/ powder you use , You still MUST keep the salt container filled.0
