Paying CSA when child is claiming benefits

Hello

If your child is 18, on a college courses but claiming esa for herself do you still pay csa. Mother does not get child benefits anymore and child is claiming esa, not the mother

    Usually when CB stops so does CS contributions.

    A child with disabilities or illness and still in fulltime education .
    Sounds like you may have found a loophole legally -of course there is nothing to stop you continuing to support the child by making the same payment direct to them instead.

  • a definition of a child for csa purposes is under 16 or between 16 and 20 and in full time education
