Amazon Vouchers to save money?

Amazon vouchers are starting to flood in now from surveys, swagbucks etc..

I am wondering anyone could suggest the best things I could buy with them to save money elsewhere?

Obviously Christmas/Birthday presents etc.. anything else?:j

  • Last time I checked their health and beauty section included regular supermarket stuff like shampoo, showergel, soap etc. You could always see if you can get some bits as a bulk buy? Although obviously check that the postage cost doesn't push it well above a sensible price, otherwise you might as well just buy from the supermarket as normal.

  • i use them for cat food, he has to have special diet stuff
  • Check their grocery section for things like bulk coffee beans and quality chocolate, check the health and beauty section for toiletries and feminine hygiene items...

Also, a good tip: make the vouchers work even harder by searching for Subscribe & Save items (you save 5% off the 'normal' Amazon price, and 15% off the whole lot if you order at least 5 different S&S items within a month). Just remember to cancel the S&S after you receive it, or you'll get repeat monthly deliveries turning up!

Don't forget that Amazon vouchers have a cut off date when they have to be used by. Always keep a check of vouchers' redemption dates.

I use my vouchers for dog food, undies, lndustrial-sized washing powder and bargain £2 leggings. I had to stop buying books as I have a back log.

  • I buy my face wash from amazon. It costs £10 in stores!! But the face wash is eligible for subscribe & save on amazon, so i have 3 delivered every 3 months so each one costs £5 instead which is a great saving.

I'm sure you'll probably find lots of other deals like that. The subscribe & save is a great idea too because it just automatically processes the order every 3 months (or whatever you choose) & is delivered straight to you so I don't have to do anything with the order again unless I want to change or cancel it.

You could always put the code for sale on eBay to get money to buy out of store things, people pay stupid money for them. I've seen people bidding £30 for a £25 code (??????) which makes no sense, but I sold a £25 code for £26 in November which I was confused but pleased with :D Funniest part is they left feedback to say it was a great deal!
