Hi
We got 2 games from an old relative on the wrong console and I know he ordered from amazon but I would rather not tell him as he will be upset and feel stupid. Is there anyway to tell Amazon his account and do a return without him knowing or would we need some type of proof of purchase?
They are £40 games so probs need to do something.

You would need all the details of his account, just sell them yourself and buy for the correct console or be honest. Do you not think he will notice a payment in his statement from Amazon?0

ok Thanks-nope he wouldn't notice as I think it be a small refund. I will have to tell him then -I thought I had seen something where amazon let you return gift books but maybe not.0

£40 isn't exactly small, if someone doesn't notice that I would be worried about their finances!0

To do a return you need to login into the account and choose to select what items to return, don't know of any other way to do it.0

ok thanks thought as was just an exchange amazon could log in see original purchase as 2 games x £40 obviously just an exchange between xbox and ps4.0

My sister (Who has very different tastes in jewellery to me) bought me a watch last year. It was really not my thing. Thankfully, she'd sent the receipt in the box, so I just used Live Chat and sorted out a return. It was dead simple, but I had to pay the return P&P because the watch wasn't faulty, just unwanted. They put a credit on your account to buy something else with. I think I bought bin bags
If you can get the receipt, you can do the returns for your relative. Either way, to send them back, one of you will be paying P&P to the Amazon returns centre in Dunfermline because it's deemed to be not Amazon's fault.© Cuilean 2005. no need to use live chat, a return is just a few clicks, print the postage label and drop it off.0 -

not always, if the seller agrees the return then you can print a pre paid returns label, but this is only if they were fulfilled by Amazon, if they were sent direct from marketplace seller then you can print of return label but you would need to pay postage to return it.0 -
Just contact the person that have them in the first place.
Else next year or on a birthday it may happen again.0
