deferring state pension

I plan to defer my state pension.
What happens to my Additional State Pension does this grow as well or can I take that alone?

AP is treated exactly the same as basic pension.

You defer all of the pension and receive the same reward for all the components

The (current) rule is that the basic section of your pension gets its inflation-protection by the "triple-lock" whereas the Additional Pension gets just CPI-linking. As greenglide says, both bits get the same reward for deferral, and you can't spilt them apart.
