I plan to defer my state pension.
What happens to my Additional State Pension does this grow as well or can I take that alone?

AP is treated exactly the same as basic pension.
You defer all of the pension and receive the same reward for all the components0 -

The (current) rule is that the basic section of your pension gets its inflation-protection by the "triple-lock" whereas the Additional Pension gets just CPI-linking. As greenglide says, both bits get the same reward for deferral, and you can't spilt them apart.Free the dunston one next time too.0
