Baileys cornflake cakes??

I'm going to a new years eve party at a friends house and thought I'd make some cornflake cakes to take over, I'd love to make them more an adult treat but not sure if it would work, I was thinking of adding baileys to the melted chocolate and golden syrup before adding the cornflakes, nuts and raisins, has anyone ever tried this? Would be fab if it worked but part of me thinks it might just curdle :/

I can't see why it wouldn't work - you could melt the baileys in with the white chocolate and it should be fine. You could also do dark chocolate ones with the orange truffle baileys ... :)
  • oooh can't wait to try this now, might do some white and dark

I can't see why this would curdle but I'm not sure how much baileys you'd need to add and whether this would hamper the setting of the chocolate as its being effectivly watered down.

Still, give it a whirl, baking and cooking is all about experimenting. If it doesn't work then I have made cupcakes with baileys butter icing before, highly recommend those as an adult treat.

The 99p shop had bars of baileys chocolate. May have to have a go.
