Right - that's the last time I do a Secret Santa at work - I usually put quite a bit of effort in to get something suitable and spend up to the £10 agreed amount.
What did I get ? pair of £2 earrings - and I don't even have pierced ears!

followed by donating chocs as the only thing to spare for the local food bank, not sure anyone would want my lousy white chocolate truffles but hey ho! Better on someone else's hips then mine!
Still always better to give then receive although I imagine it's hard to know what to buy for SS - least you got something to recycle next year x
I participated in secret santa for the first time at my workplace this year and the rules were it was a £5 gift for everyone.
Buying earrings for someone who doesn't have pierced ears though, is daft and smacks of no thought whatsoever.
