sat nav silvercrest 4200? advice please?

hope I am in the right place?:confused: have done a search but found nothing on this site :o

I am thinking of buying this sat nav from lidls on mon

but being a girl:o :rotfl: dont know much about them have tried searching on google and ask to find out more about it but nothing so far

    Unless you can buy this for a good deal less than a Tom Tom one, dont bother.
    TT 1 offers all most of us need, and they work really well.

    also anyone know of good place to get a tom tom one for a decent price.

    bought one today .. looks good but its still on charge ... says 8hrs 1st charge

  • My dad has just bought one so i had a good look at it. it seems like a good buy to me. the tom tom 1 is good as well but doesn't have europe on it or the same size screen. If you take into account the video player and mp3 player it sounds very reasonable. Although remember that i cant be sure about reliabilty of this product, unlike the tom tom 1 which is very reliable. hope this helps someone1:D

    Had a quick look at this on Amazon, and someone said that after several months of usage, there are battery problems, andyone else had experience with this?
