Sounds like you are going to be busy Alfie. Great your family are all coming. My DS1 will be going to the beach with friends who work in Sydney and too far away from their families to visit. They call themselves "The Orphans"
DS2 is working and DS3 and his gf working although DS3 should finish by 4pm so coming home then for dinner. DD will be here and her bf coming up later so we won't be on our own but not like the days when 6 of us were here opening prezzies etc.

Yes i am working christmas day afternoon and boxing day morning. But at least i will be opening my presents and cooking a dinner before going to work on christmas day.

So many people seem to have to work which is a shame but necessary in some cases of course. I could never eat out on Xmas day as I know how many staff don't want to be there. Hope you have a lovely time anyway. x

Haha, quite right. Not that I ever overdo things as everyone in family can cook so everyone helps. I am a bit unfair and never invite my mum as she is so picky and doesn't eat mash or anything with butter or cream Just want peace when eating.

Morning everyone

Seems to be colder over here this morning it was quite nice yesterday had to have the window open at one point!! :eek: (was doing a bit of DIY so that was why but still!! haha)

Not long now until the big day got everything ready - just got to make a cheesecake and cook some meat on Xmas Eve (we all have dinner at mums, but this year she's asked us to help with the food as she find's it hard to cook and prepare food now bless her)

Agree Sheils I've stopped inviting fussy people. Shame our DS is in USA. He and DD2 used to do the cooking at one time.

Still beginning to feel excited like Alfie. Alfie hope you have a great time.

Fire Fly what ever we are doing taking it easy and being relaxed is the most important.

Indie sorry to hear you are working but great you can have dinner at home.
