SIL been in touch and he is got IV fluids, catheter and is having more blood transfusion. Will be having another ct scan soon. I'm still hopeful they can stem the clots and he hopefully he won't have anti-bodies from blood transfusion as that would just make us a non match for kidney op.

I'm watching a Roald Dahl film with DD but I keep dropping off to sleep! I've had heating on for a couple of hours. Still very windy here but bin men due early in morning so will have to put it out then.

fire**fly I normally get my shopping in Iceland, sometimes Tesco but I have been thinking of ordering online with ASDA, you seem happy with their service. ASDA has such a great variety of goods.
rosemac have you finished making all your soup? Is weather any better where you live?
Snow went away here today but we have had really strong winds, trees have fallen across roads, we now have 3 bridges in our town, they had to close 1 as it was too dangerous for people crossing. We are supposed to be getting more snow tomorrow and Saturday.

BTW, good news on that postage complaint, they are going to refund me what I paid out, just waiting for that to arrive. Hurray.


So far weather wise, we've had sun, wind, rain, sleet, snow, and back to sunshine again. Wish it would make it's mind up.


Oh, for any dog owners out there. Does your dogs stomach growl now and again? My dog has a bit of a growling tummy (he's fine eating and drinking and stuff) but I typed it into google and scared myself as the worst case scenarios kept coming up - that will teach me. I think it's because the weather is colder and like humans, you seem to use more energy trying to keep warm, and be a bit more peckish IYSWIM. Someone put my daft mind at rest please?

lol I agree, playcaptchas seem to be back on Closer & Yours, so they have made up for it...meh!!
I'm beginning to wonder if the comping fairy has fallen out with me too, having a dry spell. I keep telling myself that a win will come eventually. It wants to hurry up though lol.
Please excuse my dog worrying too - I fret far too much about him, he currently snoring, so I know he's ok. He'll be like that till about 4.40pm and will start pestering for his tea.
It's now sunny again - this 'thundersnow' they keep going on about either wants to turn up or keep again.
