Fraid it was me who mentioned ironing Sylvia - more than half done now though so having a break! Decided I am going to be lazy and put something from the freezer in the oven for dinner too . DD wants crispy chicken and fries so might join her.
Yes wingo my Snickers have arrived - box of 24. Wish I could give everyone one.
That sounds good news for your son and family rose. The family across the road have 2 sons high up in the navy and DS3 has a friend who joined about a year ago I think. One of boys across road became a Commander last year and they had a big celebration. (I get confused with ranks)Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Went to Durham Gala. There were so many peeps there you couldn't move but peeps seemed to be having a good time. Came back and decided to cut the lawns. Still haven't tackled the ironing but there is hope yet as Sister is here and she likes ironing
I'm every hopeful LOL.
Hope you have all had a good day.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -

The annual Orange Order Parade was held here today and son had planned to take kids to Strathclyde Park to M&Ds funfair. So had kids on phone about 6 times lol to see if the roads were open yet so that they could get there. It was rather noisy for about 1 and a 1/2 hours with all the lodges and bands parading. Had about 20 coaches parked up my road so had to listen to some of them again as they paraded back to them.0

That was like my two eldest yesterday Sheils, they had teacher training day so were off school and sorting rooms out. I had emptied my washing basket but somehow after they sorted their rooms washing was full to the brim again! They must have too many clothes!
That would be nice of your sis Sylvia if she does your ironing for youI've still not done mine!
Aw bless the kids Rose, I'm sure it will soon pass before their dad is home again. When you think it's only 5 months away for chrimbo!Luckily this yr I'm a bit more organised and saved for vouchers. Kids are so much more expensive these days with all their gadgets!
Sheils, we had a tea from the freezer too! The kids just wanted pizza & chips so that's what we had! DH was at work so came home for a curry on his break.
Nothing much on TV again tonight, every saturday it's either Harry potter or James Bond!Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -

Good morning Inners!
Hope you are all fine and dandy this glorious Sunday and
have a wonderful day whatever you have planned.
Did someone mention ironing? ... I have another pile
here again - if anyone is offering!:D
Katie - a family fun day sounds brilliant! You have just
reminded me that I have not seen one ladybird in my garden -
not sure where they have all gone! Could do with them
coming back to scoff the aphids!!
Strange weather here - cloudy but bright sky and breezy -
will go out in a mo and check out the garden - see what's
what. Hopefully the plants will have perked up a little
today.
Will catch up with you all later - off to make another
cup of coffee.

Morning alfie and others that are awake. Very dull and damp here this morning. Have not decided what I am up to today. Son and family are off out for lunch, have been invited but have a few other things to do. So will decide later this morning. Off to make a cuppa. Be back later0
