Morning all :wave: I couldn't sleep so thought I would pop in here for a bit!
It looks like it's going to be a sunny bank hol Monday for a change here

Sylvia, the workmen were working on our road the other day and internet went off and on all the time after they had gone. I was cursing them as I want to watch the match today on android box and need internet connection. I switched it off for a bit then unplugged modem and it came back on properly. Hope you get yours on ok.

Fire**fly, the phone might be a bit basic for you but it was ideal for my dad who isn't really clued up on phones but wanted something more up to date too. It's also my mums first mobile! I would much prefer an iphone too but apparently you can do all sorts on the Doro too

Sheils, enjoy your day today and hope the weather is nice for you It's surprising how many clothes we find unworn when we dig our wardrobes out! My DD1 sorted her clothes out for charity and a couple of tops she had put in I told her I liked them and would keep them. She said to me....'mam, it was you who gave me them before!'

Everyone is in early for a bank holiday!


Wish we could help each other Alfie especially as I have a new washing machine arriving later today. Unfortunately I have just found out my plumber is on holiday and I wanted him to connect it up. Hopefully old machine will struggle on for another week or two. It has had a hard life and is playing up. Need an efficient well behaved one!


Loved your tops story wingo. Goodness knows how many unworn items are in my DD's room. She has more clothes than anyone else I know.


Sure your sis will love the Doro FF. It is a sturdy little thing and we do tend to take it about as main mobile for phoning on.


Hope you have internet sorted out Sylvia and your DIY is finished indie.

Morning all. Love all the pics. They bring a welcome smile.

Here we were awake like Wingo but thankfully managed to have some more sleep.

Hope your son enjoys the footie today and his team win and you are able to watch. The other weekend we too had problems. DH phoned and made an appointement but by turning everything off and leaving it a while I managed to get internet back. Very frustrating when this happens.

Sheils DH also just asked what is going to happen next. I think we will have a visit from a surveyor to measure up. Hammonds make the wardrobes I think in Leicester. Then they will send a decorator then fit the wardrobes then the Stylist does her bit.
Quite an experience. Instead of tralling around shops trying to think what to choose its do you like this or that and no mention of cost!

Yesterday GS was here and he found GD magnifying glass so we were bug hunting in garden. Loads of wasps about but hopefully no nesting.
Was very sunny earlier but dull now.

Good afternoon all, bit laate in today as we went out first thing to get some shopping in as DD2 & GD is coming form Yorkshire tomorrow until Saturday. Another busy week:)

Just loving today pic you have put on firefly, thank you so much. DH has a Doro but it drives me mad after having a touch screen phone, I should stick with your iphone if I were you.

If you are taking is washing Sheils you should have mentioned it last week when we came back from holiday :rotfl::rotfl: Talking of clothes I went into out cupboard to look for something on Saturday and found a bag of clothes that hadn't been unpacked since the refub last August.

It must be really exciting having a bedroom makeover leanfun. As you say all the trailing round the shops not to think of the expence. What a lovely win.

No ladders now Alfie keep your feet well and truly on the ground please.

Enjoy your week off with the kids Wingo and try and relax a bit, big hugs for you all.

Have tried everything with the wifi, unpluged everything, rebooted, moved the router into the lounge. It is driving me mad. We are doing a speedcheck every few hours and keeping a record of it. Have McAffee security and done a C-clean so I think I have covered all bases. The same of defferent browsers also. Sigh.

Must get on a sort beds for the family coming and do the ironing.

Afternoon, i hope everyone has had a good day. I got the wallpapering finished last night.Just got to upcycle a couple of drawers i got and put pictures ect back up then nearly back to normal. I won't be getting carpet yet as i want to do my bedroom next and knock a wall down (it's a built in wardrobe but i want more room so no holding walls there.I don't want to walk dust up and down stairs on the new carpet. I was at work earlier so time to catch up with the comps now.

Good luck with your DIY projects indie, sounds like my idea of a nightmare.
New dishwasher and washing machine arrived at 3.30. Bought them from AO.com and only ordered them yesterday. Really well priced and delivery guys really nice. Much cheaper and quicker than Currys who I nearly ordered from. Just a shame plumber on holiday!
Should get cashback too plus £20 for ordering two things from them.
Old washing machine working fine today. lol
Just back from walk along the river - really warm now.
