On a slightly different note - in the last hour we have had a
mixture of rain, very heavy rain, hailstorm, sun and now
big black clouds are looming on the horizon again. :eek:

hope all is well,I am a busy bee yes but I like to be busy as keeps me well and happy and content,glad you liked the photo of me with the cushion.I am working soon with VIH to do stuff as I am not in this Thursday as noone is there to help support me should I need it so doing today instead.Cleaned my flat this morning

I hope to bagpack for someone at Waitrose soon so looking forward to that as its in the pipeline as not confirmed yet.Well done on your wins FF

Alfie we are having similar weather. Pleased we did not go out.

Never cease to be amazed at some of the prizes. Yesterday I saw a photo of a house sailing down the Thames and today there's a competition to spend time in it!

may be a runner up from a comp & the ops not listed it,
but it's a lovely surprise any way & will come in handy for

Hi all!

Hope you are all well today. I'm fine - sun is peeking
out here, got blue skies and all is calm after strange weather
yesterday!

Got some strange pellets made of sheep wool yesterday
to deter the little blighters (slugs) that are slowly
munching their way through me runner beans! :eek:

Never tried the pellets before but don't do chemicals in
my garden and tried everything else so last resort.

(Seems to be serious lack of hedgehogs in the garden
this year!)

After putting the pellets round the plants had to water them
in - apparently they turn into a sort of matting which makes
the slugs feel a tad uncomfortable and they look for
somewhere else to feed!

Going to inspect the plants this morning to make sure
there are no more casualties!
