No it is not far to walk from the village. The village was built there so that they could power the mill and everything from the power the falls give. They are quite spectacular to see.

Thanks rose will definitely visit if it stays dry if not will go another time as we go that way quite often. Had forgotten the falls were there.

Glad to be a help shiels. I actually forget about all the places that are around me. Suppose I am taking them for granted. There are loads of historical and beautifull places to visit in this area.

Evening to anyone who is around. Have been having a giggle to myself tonight. Earlier one of my neighbours knocked on the door and asked if I liked kippers and arbroath smokies. So I am now the proud of a pair of each. He won a box of each in a raffle lol. He has given most of them away as he does not like them. Tonight the police helicopter has been out whatever is going on. It is really annoying though as I have spent the night turning the tv up and down.

Morning nice and bright here this morning although it is not that warm. Got doctors appointment later so hope it heats up a bit. Maybe some of us will get a wem today as end of month comps have finished. Good luck everyone
