Evening all. Didn't pop in yesterday as the sunshine lured me out gardening and the day just whizzed by. Watched the leaders debate and wasn't impressed by any of them.

Rain, rain and more rain today. So a good day for baking and comping.

What a nice neighbour you are rosemac. And you too firefly. I hope your DD will be OK and gets the treatment she needs leanfun.

Feels a bit cold here but looks like the sun is trying to come out.
House nice and quiet here as both DS & DD are away for the night and DH still sleeping.

Morning all. Damp and dismal here. Settling in for an hours comping since my PC is in my corner right next to a cosy radiator which is on for an hour in the morning. Purrrrrr.

Love the pic Sheils. Makes one think of spring. Here another dull morning but the forsythia in garden brightens everything up.

We have a garden but I'm not a gardener so envy firefly and hdh74. When it brightens up here I will do something out there.
Son in law a real city fellow has always lived in a flat so now in house with small garden and last year had no idea what were weeds or shrubs! Fortunately developers planted shrubs on a bank at the back of the garden.
He did take advice and treated their fences. So from the end of the road you can easily pick out their garden. Just thought how did he treat the top of the climber on the wall at the back.
GS loved helping with weeding last year. Must try to plant something with him soon.

We had new young neighbours just over a year ago. They are 30. They called around yesterday and went up to see our really tidy bedroom and what might be done there.
DD doing ok at moment and feels better now she has appointment for next week so thank you everyone.
Quiet weekend here. Other daughter who lives at coast two and half hours away is expecting a girl at end of month. They also have a toddler son. They would be here now if it was not so near due date.
Strangly all four girl cousins on my side of family were pregnant at same time.

Forsythia all out here too leanfun. It looks lovely in the sunshine. Our forecast seems to be good all of a sudden.


Town will be really busy so try to give it a miss today and walk along the river bank when we go out. DS and DD will be busy cooking for and feeding all the holiday makers later. Like to see them get nice weather when they come though.

Loving the Easter pics today, thanks everyone.

Weather is very drab here today, sigh, need to dry some more washing as going to DD's tomorrow.

Really busy day here with lots to do apart from the comps so must get on.
