I bet you are froze firefly having to scrap the bird tables etc. Make sure you keep warm.

Glad you had a nice Christmas Indie/Kitten and enjoy your day.

Afternoon everyone :) I'm having a lazy pj day today now that I've got my washing on and tidied up a bit. Chocs at the ready and catching up on my soaps!

I bet your LO was overwhelmed by all her pressies kitten :) It's lovely when they're that age, you can buy them what you want and it's not too expensive! :D I used to put stockings in kids rooms too but as they got older they never slept incase Santa came into their room! I started filling the stockings up with chocs and little toiletries.

Dreams, so glad your son was home for Xmas :) Hope you had a wonderful day xx

That's great the shop was able to exchange the laptop sheils. It sounds lovely having your son to cook for you. :) I manage to burn the turnip! :o I was about to turn it off when DD2 opened the fridge and a glass of water fell out just missing her head what DD1 left in top of fridge! There was shards of glass everywhere but just glad it didn't hit her.
You got some lovely gifts too :) I got a foot spa that I've always wanted and dropped hints to DH for the past few yrs! :D I also got a coat in the sale. DH asked me to buy something for myself for Xmas and he would give me the money so I saw the coat reduced but he hasn't give me the money for it yet! :D At least the foot spa was a nice surprise anyway :) Also got some nice little things that kids bought me out of their own money :A

I love the sound of the colour changing Buddha fire**fly :) My mum collects Buddhas too. I hope they bring you lots of luck :) xx Lucky you having snow! My kids would be jealous, they're desperate to try out the snow scooter they got last year!

Sylvia, hope it's not too frosty outside for you when you go out today. :) It looks quite mild and sunny here at the minute! I hope you get some wonderful things with your gift vouchers when you go to Yorkshire xx

Have a relaxing day today indie after your 12h shift yesterday! :)

Had a lovely day at parents with all the family yesterday :) It was a big difference from last yr when mam was having her chemo and was a bald as a coot! Her hair is like wildfire this yr! :D
We have a date pencilled in for our op too which is 5th February. :) The day after my sons bday! A full day and team of surgeons are needed because of complications so that is next available date. Just glad we finally have a date for it!

Hope you all have a relaxing day :)

Afternoon everyone, hope you all had a wonderful christmas.
We had a lovely day plenty of comp gifts where handed out, especially to my husband and I couldn't help but say 'I won that!' So it became a bit of a family giggle :)
Had a bit of rubbish news prior to christmas the the ME/Fybromyalgia that I was told I had a couple of months ago is actually a rare muscular disorder that is yet to be determined so really needed a nice christmas to take my mind off things. Fingers crossed for a happy healthy new year x

Good to keep positive Mrs Emm and hope the news is not as bad as you expected. Its fab that you were able to win some presents, my family love it when I win things for them.

Wingo - good you are having a PJ day, sound lovely. Good job you were'nt in the way of broken glass. I expect you are all relieved to have an actual date set for the operation, we will all be thinking of you for a good positive outcome for you all.

Glad the snow is melting a bit for you firefly. Hope we don't run into it tomorrow on our way down to Yorkshire.

I can understand you worry when you have Sons going out at New Year Sheils, lets hope they will be sensible.

Have the irong to get through now, sigh.

Just spoke to DD in Yorkshire. They had snow when they were at MIL on Christmas day. They have a very long steep bendy driveway which she thought she would be OK geting up as she has a VW4 x 4. She slid back down about 20 ft and missed going down a steep drop into the field below by a few inches. She hasnt managed to get it back home yet.
