In previous years the Reindeer have left muddy footprints in the kitchen also some brown fur and Santa left one of his large black buttons with red thread. Any other money saving clues of Father Christmas's visit?

Snowy footprints with flour or talc? Half his mince pie eaten or bites taken out of the carrots left for reindeer.

Maybe a bit late now ....................I knew someone who didn't have a fireplace and would sprinkle glitter from the frontdoor (Father Christmas has a special 'key' ) to the tree indicating that he'd been.
